The central holding of the Supreme Court’s infamous Roe v. Wade decision was that a woman has the right to choose an abortion for any reason, up until the “point at which the fetus becomes ‘viable,’ that is, potentially able to live outside the mother’s womb.” Roe v. Wade said furthermore that “Viability is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks.”
The Associated Press reports this week that a baby born at 21 weeks and six days after conception has now gone home with a good prognosis after months in the hospital. Thus, it is patently obvious that Roe is not only morally retrograde, but is also empirically dated as well. The viability stage has been pushed back well before what was possible in 1973 when Roe was decided.
Here is yet another reason that we should all be hoping and praying for the collapse of the immoral regime of Roe v. Wade.

I dunno….I think the Anna Nicole Smith fiasco is the best arguement I’ve heard in a long time in favor of abortion.

If you are going to use Wikipedia, you have to do so critically. I read and article a while back that was helpful to me in evaluating Wikipedia: “Can Wikipedia Ever Make the Grade?” – Chronicle of Higher Education.

I use wikipedia quite often for tidbits on random topics, but I have edited a couple of the articles myself as jokes around the office. One of my joke edits was on the site for over a week. I, as in the article you linked to, was very curious to see how easy it was to send false information.
