D.A. becomes an M.C.

Students of Boyce College, if you hear me yelling “Westside” randomly in the hallway, this post explains why. It’s my own jubilant tribute to some lyrical madness that Dr. D. A. Carson laid down on a track for Curtis “Voice” Allen. I don’t know how he did it, but somehow “Voice” got Dr. Carson’s voice in a rap about the Westminster Catechism. Dr. Carson’s big line is “Westside!” (which I suppose corresponds to “Westminster” somehow). Download here or listen below.

I’d also like to hear Dr. Schreiner rap Galatians.

Dr. Moore could make a good country song out of 1 & 2 Corinthians…

When I was a student at TEDS, the word on the street was that Dr. Carson did a great Elvis impersonation. Someone even brought a guitar to class one day to ask him to give a demo but he declined. Maybe now, that he has broken into rap, who knows?

Denny, that was a good start to my morning!
