It wasn’t pretty. LSU turned the ball over once, and they had 7 penalties for 61 yards. On top of that, the Gators were in rare form under Tebow. LSU’s vaunted defense didn’t look so good for about the first three quarters. The Tigers trailed the Gators until about the last minute and a half of the game.
I don’t have the heart to gloat (even though I’m normally not above such things 🙂 ). Tebow is good. Really good. Vince Young good. I have a new respect for him and his team. Nevertheless, Jacob Hester has every bit as much heart and brawn as Tebow, and Hester was truly the most valuable player of this game. This was a great win for the Tigers, and I’m glad they got it done.

Denny, Glad to see LSU win… Not a fan of the Gators.. Good team, not good guys. Like 8 players jammed up with the law in last 9 months… I like the head coach of LSU… He did a good job with Okie State prior to LSU…

Man, what a game. I seriously think it may have taken years off my life, and I don’t really care….it was worth it.

Anymore talk like that and I’m going to have to moderate you.

SEC is THE conference to beat. I agree with Faimon–I aged 10 years from start to finish. But wow–Hester is the man and Les Miles has guts. That’s what it takes to be national champs. The thing is–UF and LSU may have to play again before the season is in the books.

Oh my. What a disappointing 3-OT loss that was. One friend of mine walked all the way home after that game. (It wasn’t a necessarily short walk.)
