If you haven’t seen it yet, there is a new documentary out on the making of the King James Version of the Bible. It is narrated by John Rhys Davies, and it looks really fascinating. The video is linked above.

The folks that translated the KJV did an amazing job considering they were trying to construct a pneumonic memory circut out of stone knives and bear skins (Star Trek reference there). We should all be grateful for their contribution to the cause of Christ.
