KJB – The Book That Changed the World

If you haven’t seen it yet, there is a new documentary out on the making of the King James Version of the Bible. It is narrated by John Rhys Davies, and it looks really fascinating. The video is linked above.

    This is a great movie. I have a copy and have watched it twice. We will be showing it at our KJV Festival in September.

    Good stuff! I thought _Amazing Grace_ was quality in the realm of Christian film, and it looks like this should be similar. I will have to look up whether Rhys-Davies is a Christian. I did know ta

    Shoot, published before I was done. Was going to say that I do know Rhys-Davies is a conservative, but I’m unaware of his faith.

    The folks that translated the KJV did an amazing job considering they were trying to construct a pneumonic memory circut out of stone knives and bear skins (Star Trek reference there). We should all be grateful for their contribution to the cause of Christ.

    Yes it’s great doc. movie, just seen it yesterday. John narration is really powerful.
