Jordan Jefferson Granted another Year of Eligibility

I cannot believe this, but apparently the NCAA has granted Jordan Jefferson another year of eligibility due to an unjust suspension early in the 2011 season. So it looks like he’ll be LSU’s quarterback for one more year. Coach Les Miles has praised the decision saying that, “Jefferson’s experience and skill will be a huge asset to the team next year.” LSUSports.net has the story here.

If this is true, I guess good ole boy J.J. will be getting more tennis shoes, clothes, new apt., and just maybe a new car!!! Money talks, just like everything else in Louisiana, crooked as hell!

I did not fall for this!! Read the headline and immediately scoffed. I follow the program too closely, and if this were true, I would’ve heard about it from another source. Nice try, bro, but no Rick roll for me!!

Yeah, that game was such a bummer. So many frustrating aspects, but the worst part for me was getting shut out. HumilIating!

I’m over it, though. This year will be special!

Steve, if you were coaching, what would you have done differently? It seems to me that Miles have up on the passing game together. He should have either put Jarrett Lee in the game or forced Jefferson to do some down the field passes. That would have been the only way to loosen up Bama’s defense, which was able to suffocate us at the line because they did have to defend the pass.
