“I knew him to be a man of God. His accomplishments went beyond most clergy of his generation. Some of my grandchildren have attended and currently attend Liberty University. He leaves a gigantic vacuum in the evangelical world.” –Billy Graham

I had the privilege of earning my B.S. at Liberty. I also graduated with one of Graham’s grandsons. In fact, Graham spoke at my commencement ten years ago. I agree with Graham that Falwell’s death is a significant loss to the church. Falwell was a visionary and he was able to implement his great vision. Not everyone can do that.
