The BCS took a historic step by presenting four-team playoff options as the future of college football’s postseason after the 2014 bowls. If plans are worked out, final approval could come by late June.
Definitely a step in the right direction. But you realize that if a team like Boise State is 12-0 and finishes 5th in the rankings, whiners are still going to complain. This will be true no matter where they cut it off. Personally, I would like to see this expanded to eight teams. People could argue that their team should have been in the top eight but with eight teams, everyone should be able to accept the winner of the playoff as the national champ.
