    I found this encouraging. Generally I don’t find Piper’s talks about parenting or fatherhood to be helpful to me, simply because the things he laments not doing better seem so far out of reach for me to do at all.
    This interview, being a little less specific and more a generalized look at the goals of parenting and the joys of adult children was more helpful to me.

    I’ll never be John Piper. This interview didn’t remind me of that, it encouraged me.
