The department store Macy’s fired an employee who refused to let a man dress in a female dressing room. The employee, Natalie Johnson, watched the man enter the dressing room, so she told him that he needed to go the men’s dressing room. The man explained to her that he was transgender—which means that even though he is biologically male, he feels himself to be a woman.
