The Gospel on Joe Rogan’s Podcast

I just finished listening to Joe Rogan’s stimulating interview with a Christian apologist named Wes Huff. It really is a fascinating conversation, and I want to commend it to you.

The occasion for the interview is Wes Huff’s “debate” with atheist Billy Carson late last year. I stayed up late last night and watched the debate. Huff dominated with facts and evidence, and he did so in a kind and winsome way. It was so one-sided, that Carson subsequently tried to keep the debate from seeing the light of day and sued Huff.

It’s a big mess and has gotten a lot of commentary online, which is how Joe Rogan discovered Huff and subsequently invited him onto the Joe Rogan Experience. Huff’s appearance on Rogan’s program is a masterclass of careful scholarship and Christian apologetics. It’s about three hours long, but it is so worth the listen.

It’s also worth listening to the very end where Huff asks Rogan what he believes about Jesus. After listening to Rogan’s response, Huff gives a wonderful gospel presentation (which is the 4-minute clip going viral on social media right now).

I highly recommend taking a listen to this interview. It is so encouraging to hear the gospel so faithfully presented and defended. It’s also encouraging to encounter such a presentation on a program that reaches millions of people across the world. Let’s pray for the word to bear fruit.

Well done, brother Wes.
