My colleague Dr. Chuck Lawless shared a powerful testimony to God’s grace in SBTS chapel yesterday. This is a good word, and you need to hear it. The Lord’s arm is not too short to save! (Isaiah 59:1)
This was amazing. Two things hit me yesterday as he was sharing this testimony. 1) I need to renew my passion to pray for my own dad. 2) I was shocked that there were actually people that did not stand up when Dr. Moore encouraged those who had lost family members to stand. That is no comment on those that did not stand…I was just amazed, I expected everyone to stand.
So thrilled for Dr. Lawless! What a day of singing in the heavens when his dad accepted Jesus! Now all of us have a new, 72 year old baby brother in Christ as part of our Christian family!
