Hokey Tomb Documentary

I’m watching “The Jesus Tomb” documentary, and there are about 20 minutes left until it is over. I have to say that there are holes all through this thing, and you don’t have to be a specialist in historical Jesus studies to see them. I think that is why the Discovery Channel put a disclaimer at the beginning of the program and have contracted Ted Koppel to do a cross-examination when it is finished.

The conclusions being drawn in the documentary do not follow from the facts that they have laid out. The non-sequitors are too numerous to count. One this is for sure, this is a pretty hokey documentary. I think it’s going to get throttled in the Koppel special to follow.

Are you suggesting that ONLY theories that can be proven absolutely without holes or “big ifs” should be discussed? What does that do to 99.9% of Christian doctrine? All theories/doctrines/beliefs have holes and “big ifs”. The holes are a requirement for faith.
