Mohler was particularly excellent there.

Was kinda sad to see the deck so clearly stacked against Russ. But I’m grateful for both Dr. Moore and Dr. Mohler. Praise God for men who will stand for the truth in the midst of such storms.

Yeah, they gave that other guy the first and last word! And he ended with a vile attack on God’s word. The irony of that didn’t seem to occur to anyone at CNN.

So true, I was eagerly awaiting Moore’s response, but what do know, they didn’t let him respond. The press has abandoned even the pretense of objectivity.

And the horrific racist parts of the bible that promote slavery are…?

Presumably “slaves obey your masters” and the urging of Onesimus to return to Philemon. Probably also verses like Leviticus 25:44-46.

Admittedly, those aren’t “racist”.

The part where the Apostle Paul is unchristian in 1Cor 6:9-10

Both encouraging interviews, glad to see Mohler and Moore refusing to throw Robertson under the bus.

I would be interested to find out the supposed “racist” statements that Mr. Robinson said? Dr. Mohler made the statement that Mr. Robinson made the statements in the context of sins, not as comparison to beastiality itself. The other person, totally told a different story altogether. Who is correct on that point?
It would also seem that who/what is really on trial here is not Mr. Robinson, but the Bible itself.

Why is Mohler referring to DD as Christian when they teach baptismal regeneration?

Great job to both men. I always had a low opinion of the SBC (mostly due to my own prejedices) but after seeing men like Dr. Mohler and Dr. Moore (along with men such as Denny, David Platt, Matt Chandler, Darrin Patrick and Trevin Wax) boldly engage culture in a respectful way that does not compromise scripture, I am considering joining an SBC church.
