All conservatives (especially Christian ones) should know that they are duty bound to say what is true. The “No Enemies to the Right” calculation is immoral and unprincipled because it is not only a refusal to say what is true but an active campaign to defend what is not true. Dissembling is no virtue, especially when it is being used as a cover for moral evil. And make no mistake. Racial epithets and jokes about the holocaust are beyond the pale and ought to be marginalized.
