USC Dynasty? Give me a break!

Can someone tell me how a USC win in the Rose Bowl would have been a three-pete? People seem to be forgetting who won the 2004 championship. Great game, Texas! Geaux Tigers!

One-pete

I would rather have seen LSU vs. USC matchup in 2004, than LSU – OU. From watching the USC – Michigan game that year, then the LSU – OU game, and finally the USC – OU game the year after, I do have to come to the conclusion, although I hate USC, that USC would have beat LSU that year by a touchdown or more. But it would be a game to see!

So do you think Vince Young is going into the NFL draft this year? I think he should stay his senior year and try win the Heisman and make it to the championship again. His throwing mechanics could use some work before he goes to the NFL, where there is a steady diet of players as fast, as strong, as tough and considerably more malevolent than those he has been shaming in college. He is going to need to sharpen up and learn to use his brain more along with his talent if he is going to make it in the NFL.

    Denny,
It technically would have been a three-peat since 2004 was a split between LSU and USC, if my memory is correct. Both LSU and USC were declared national champions that year.

To make a late post on this blog, I would venture to say that LSU would of beat USC in 04′ as well as I do not believe they got the Hardware that LSU got. Finally, Ole Pat is just getting irrelevant in his political and cultural power so the only way he can stay in the news is to make outrageous comments like those that he has made. Look for these comments to get more and more flagrant as he gets less and less influential
