Just when I thought I’d seen everything, here comes the “Playful Puppies Bible.” From the publisher’s description:

Well don’t that just beat all? After all, who doesn’t like puppies?

UPDATE: I just learned that there’s a “Curious Kittens Bible” too! It would have been perrrfect if they would have spelled “curious” with a “k.”

    Does this version signal the next step in the NIV’s declension? Having sipped the politically-driven Kool Aid of pluralizing singulars and otherwise neutering many texts, will the next NIV strike a blow against “speciesism”? Will John 3:16 become “whoever or whatever believes in Him or at least is a good doggie”?
