After stuffing ourselves with hot dogs, chips and everything our wives won't let us eat at home, we stopped to thank God for the blessing of living in the United States. Before we prayed, I quoted from memory the preamble of the US Constitution, which I learned watching these as a kid. Somebody tell my dad that I was actually leaning something all those Saturday mornings... Some folks in our church gathered to celebrate the 4th of July last week (and to watch the dads present fulfill all of their pyromaniac dreams…).
