Saturday Morning Cartoons

Did anyone else grow up watching Saturday morning cartoons? I loved the Looney Tunes and anything Disney (though you couldn’t watch Disney on Saturday mornings).

Anywho, I came across a couple of classics last week on YouTube and have decided to share. Enjoy this blast from the past!

Classic! Bugs is my all time favorite. I have so many fond memories spending Saturday mornings with the Looney Tunes gang! Thanks Denny.

what happened to all the good cartoons?!

Darkwing Duck, Duck Tales, Tail Spin, Looney Tunes, Superman, Batman, old-school Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Felix the Cat, Popeye, Betty Boop, Casper, Underdog, Mighty Mouse, Flinstones, Jetsons, Tom and Jerry, Yogi Bear, Mario Brothers (1/2 cartoon & 1/2 for real), and there was that one cartoon that featured Nolan Ryan, Bo Jackson, and Wayne Gretzky, etc.

Man!! Those were the good ones.

Awesome. They started editing out the “violence” a couple of years ago. If you watch Looney Tunes reruns now, they rarely show explosions, people getting hurt, etc.

Denny,

Did you find the Smurfs? I know how you used to love them.

And, I would love to know how to get my hands on the Flinstones and Jetsons.

Marvin The Martian was my favorite. “I am sooo angry…”

They’ll never make them that good again.
