Louisiana is my home state, and we have all been watching this oil leak with great disgust and sadness. Pray for the leak to be fixed soon and for clean-up efforts to minimize the environmental impact as much as possible. A whole way of life is threatened right now, and we need this to end.

I just keep hoping that it ain’t so, that it does not turn out to be the end of the way of life for those folks.
Political liberals are attacking Palin’s “Drill, baby, drill” mantra, as they call it. It is as though they think she caused the Gulf oil spill. We need to drill and gain independence from foreign governments that would love to see us fall as a country, as a people, and as a judeo-Christian culture. However, drilling should obviously be done more responsibly. I have read many posts from liberal acquaintances on Facebook who have turned this whole tragedy into an anti-conservative, “aren’t they stupid” accusation.
