Fleeing the Abortionist’s Probe

I wrote last week about Abby Johnson who quit her job as executive director of a Planned Parenthood clinic after seeing an ultrasound image of an abortion. Mike Huckabee recently interviewed Johnson, and she provided much more detail than previously about the abortion that she saw.

The mother who aborted her child was 13 weeks pregnant. Johnson says that she saw the baby trying to get away from the abortionist’s probe. Watch the interview above.

This story absolutely breaks my heart, but I think it shows that people need to be horrified about the violence of abortion if real change is going to happen.

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.

To pull a quote from Jessi’s blog that demonstrates the lunacy of pro-abortion mentality:

Authorities say a 37-year-old Los Angeles man has been arrested on suspicion of murder for the death of an unborn child believed to be his.
Police said in a press release that Joshua Woodward was arrested Sunday in Los Angeles and is being held on $2 million bail in a county jail.
Police say the arrest came after an investigation on Monday revealed “suspicious circumstances of a miscarriage.” Investigators estimate the fetus was in its 13th week.

Also from the same article:
Police released no information on the mother or the circumstances of the child’s death.

Fascinating and yet contradictory to the mentality.

If only the 15 women who are going to go into the abortion clinic in Louisville tomorrow morning would look at their ultrasound picture!
I pray that the workers at the clinic would have their eyes opened to this genocide.

I saw a very telling editorial in NYTimes. What we see as a hope for the rights of unborn children, others see as hampering rights of another group:

The Ban on Abortion Coverage
The House health care reform bill passed with a steep price. The Senate should work to preserve a woman’s right to abortion services.

Ultrasounds are perhaps the number one reason for women changing their minds on abortions. That’s why it is imperative for Christians to support their local crisis pregnancy centers so that they can afford quality ultrasound equipment. The center where my wife works just bought a top-of-the-line 4D one that, from what I’ve heard, shows everything down to even the veins. Hard to kill it when you see blood pumping through the body, fully-formed lips, and its mother’s nose.

CPCs are where the miracles are at; you should hear all of the amazing stories that happen at them on a regular basis.

I second that Darius!!!! Crisis Pregnancy Centers are definitely on the frontlines. They also need your prayers. The power of prayer is amazing and we’ve seen some incredible things happen because of it. Thanks for mentioning CPCs!

I commented on a different blog that I wish there could be an iconic image of abortion like the “Execution of a Viet Cong Guerrilla” image from 1968. In some ways, ultrasounds in general fulfill that role. A friend recently posted their 4D ultrasound on Facebook with the comment “he has his daddy’s nose.”
